I remember I was home one day, and I spent the entire day just watching my dad play Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time. For about a month, my little brother and I would run around the house saying, "A day without Dr. Nefarious is like a day without sunshine." Some of my fondest memories from childhood were watching my dad or my grandma play video games, a trend that continued when YouTube Let's Plays became a thing. I was well into my late teens when I discovered anime, and somewhere within that I found cosplay. I became infatuated with the idea of being able to bring my favorite video game or anime character to life, and thus I began the quest line that would change everything.
